Life at the house

The house is built for shared days. Tea on the verandah as the plains wake up and Mount Kenya shows itself in the morning light, afternoons between the house and the kopje, and evenings on the rooftop deck or around the wood-fired pizza oven. Inside there is a big living room with a fireplace, a round dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. Leya, the caretaker, comes each morning to make beds, sweep, wash up and take in laundry.
