Asili Cottage sits on a hillside in Sangare Conservancy, with views towards Mt Kenya, the Aberdare Range and the Lolldaiga Hills. Three bedrooms sleep seven, the whole cottage is yours and it is self catering. Elephant, leopard, buffalo and giraffe share the conservancy, and safari vehicles with experienced drivers are on hand for game drives and sundowners.

Life at the cottage
The cottage is self catering and comes with everything you need, from wine glasses to firewood. Days start with the sun coming up behind Mt Kenya and end around the fire pit in the garden, with safari chairs pulled up and the conservancy going quiet around you. Inside there is a sitting room with a fireplace for cool evenings and a kitchen for cooking your own meals.
Sangare Conservancy
The cottage sits within Sangare Conservancy, home to elephant, leopard, buffalo, giraffe and a great deal of birdlife. Safari trucks with experienced drivers are on hand for game drives and sundowner spots, and guided horse safaris can be arranged. The dam is about 20 minutes' drive away, and the Aberdare Range about 20 minutes beyond the conservancy.

- Children under 12: half price.
- Game drives, horse safaris and guided walks can be arranged on request.

House rules
- Maximum 7 guests.
- Walking outside the fence around the cottage is not permitted, because of wildlife.
- Please do not walk unescorted beyond the cottage. Guided walks can be arranged.
Good to know
- You will need your own vehicle to reach the cottage.
- Conservancy fees are paid before arrival, not at the gate.
- This is wild country. Keep children close and stay inside the fence unless you are with a guide.
